Inuyasha caracters

These are all drawings from the same manga-turned-anime show, Inuyasha. Lotta drawings, I know. Here's a list of who they are:

6. Kagome the Reincarnation of Kikyo (In the picture I was looking at to draw this showed her in front of a lake and in the moonlight so her hair looked almost blue, but I didn't have space to draw that, so I drew a blue moon and said that was the cause. It ruined the picture!)

Abstract!!!

So this was my first time trying to draw abstract. It's really weird, because the thing in the middle looks like an injured panda. Well, to me, anyway. So I looked at like this tutorial about how to do this stuff from a fast talking artistic lady. Here's the link:

So actually I didn't find it on youtube, but it was a youtube video on a different site. So this explains how I did it, I hope.

So yeah, abstract. Don't worry! I'm pretty sure this is my first and last abstract. Unless you count those random squiggles from kindergarten "My First Abstract"!

The Little Mermaid

Ariel giggled as she swam through an ocean of bubbles, just to find her friend, Flounder, stuck in an entrance of an underwater cave. "Oh, Flounder!" She grinned.

I drew this a while ago. The picture's a little weird because of the camera's flash, but it's obviously the little mermaid, Ariel. In the right hand corner is Ariel's best friend, Flounder. Yup. Lotta bubbles.

I think I drew this last month, but I'm not sure. I know it was after Halloween, so pretty much last month. Yeah.. I actually wanted to try one of her sisters. But then I actually saw pictures of them. BTW, I mean the original version, because in the 3rd movie they're okay.

So yeah. Well don't go anywhere, I'm gonna post soon!!!

The Sneeze

This is an original drawing by me, Anjali. It's pretty much a girl who is blowing her nose and stuff. Apparently it's good enough that people actually asked me to post it on my blog (Even though they don't follow it)! hint hint...............

So it started as I made a random squiggle, and it ended like this. Yeah, it was weird. I think it started at the hands. Anyway, the background got all messed up because it's kinda tilted to one side while the girl is tilted to the other. It's hard to see, but true. The objects in the back look kinda strange, like it just doesn't look natural. By the way she is wearing a midnight blue nightgown, but the blue went weird because of the camera's flash. I was going to make the walls a dark blue, but I forgot! *Puts her hand on the back of her head like embarrassed anime people do*

Kilala Princess

Kilala rushed out to meet Erica. "Hey, Kilala!" she bubbled. Kilala's flying pet mouse hugged Kilala, and flew back into their house. "Bye!" Kilala called, grinning.

I drew this of the best friend of the main character of a manga called Kilala Princess. As you can see I shaded really badly. Could've done better but, well I guess I just didn't. I didn't properly outline the bangs in profile. But I guess I did good.

I must seem so depressing!! You know, being down on myself. But I look at my mistakes and try to do better next time, so it helps me. That's a good tip for people who draw anime. Or people who try to draw anime.

Anyway, yes this is Erica, from Kilala Princess and I think I did a good job on her!

Sarah from Horseland

The neighing of horses greeted Sarah as she stepped out of the back seat of her limo. She grabbed her things and immediately ran to the stables. "Scarlet girl!" She grinned. Her beauty of a horse whinnied in greeting.

This is a picture I drew a few years ago. It's of Sarah, a character from an animated series called Horseland. I used to watch this all the time, so I tried drawing the characters. I definitely didn't try to draw the horses, or Teeny the pig, Shep the dog, or Angora the cat. I am no good at drawing animals. Ironic, huh?

Well, I'm in a stage you might call "Hung up on two things". Remember when I told you a few posts back about how I liked to write novels? Well, I like writing as much as I like drawing, and I hope if I ever publish my novels, I could illustrate them. I'd also make some picture books.

So far I have started twenty seven novels, but I haven't finished one. It's because I get a bunch of ideas at the same time, and I switch around writing all of them. So I think in the future I'll try to focus on one. The problem? Boredom with the story after a while of thinking about it too much.

So, for some reason I have feeling i should watch an episode of Horseland, for old times sake :)

Tinker Bell

The soft ringing of beautiful bells woke the the snoring fairies. T'was the Tinkers, early as always. Tinker Bell grinned, as she flew to her usual Tinkering spot. Terrence, Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn, and Iridessa waited for their friend. It was time to fly to the mainland.

It's obviously Tinker Bell. This Tinker Bell, I think, was inspired by a random picture online that I have no idea about where it is now, so I can't post the link up. Well, either way I just thought I'd post it. :)

I feel so happy it's winter break, that means I have a lot of time to draw and stuff so I'm in a really good mood.

Hello world, my name is Anjali! And, as you can probably tell by looking at the title of this blog, I love art! On this blog I'll be posting all my art up and talking about art. But first I should tell you about me. Well, I'm a girl that loves writing, drawing, and anime! Yeah, I guess I should be obsessed with anime since I like art so much. My favorite color is purple, I love cats, and I like to write novels! :)

Yup. So that's about it, I guess. Well, on the next post I'll post up some pictures, okay?
